UNIFORM SWAP MEET

As the new school year rapidly approaches, we realize that many of you are preparing by purchasing required uniforms. In an effort to ease the cost of uniforms, we will be hosting several days where you will be able to swap gently used uniform items or purchase them for a discounted rate.

We ask that if you will be participating in the uniform swap, please 1) wash the clothes prior to and 2) do a thorough check to ensure there are no stains, holes, or damage to the clothes.

The days this event will take place are Wed, August 26, between the hours of 9:00-5:00 pm and Friday, August 28, from 9:00-4:00 pm.

As you know, uniforms can be purchased at full price from Land’s End. Catalogs are available in the main office as well as the uniform listing.

Parkside Christian Academy Uniform Policy 2009-2010

Students in grades 1-8 are required to wear uniforms. Kindergarten students may participate if they so desire. We have made some changes to the dress code this year.

Changes to the uniform colors are indicated in red below. We will no longer use the colors Evergreen and White for the tops. (WHITE WILL BE ALLOWED FOR 09-10 IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED THEM!)
Every student MUST have at least 1 Light blue shirt for chapel. ALL STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR THEIR BLUE TOP ON CHAPEL DAYS!
Because uniform purchases can get expensive, we will have a uniform flea market in early August. Look for more information in the mail or on the website.

Parents have the option of purchasing the uniform bottoms through the Land’s End catalog or from a retail store such as Walmart, K-Mart, Target, Sears and Burlington Coat Factory. Uniform tops (for logos) must be purchased through the Land’s End catalog.

Parkside Christian Academy is a member of the Land’s End Preferred School Program. As a member, Land’s End donates 3% of the net sales back to Parkside. In order to have your contribution count toward this effort, you must mention the Preferred School Number for Parkside: 900089632. You can shop online at www.landsend.com/school.
