Crystal Dixon – Crystal was born in Houston, TX and graduated from Hardaway HS in Columbus, GA in 1986.  She has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a M.S. in Education Administration from Boston College, and served as Director of the Boston Education Collaborative at Emmanuel Gospel Center from 2002 - 2008.  She now serves alongside her husband, Michael Dixon as the Director of Administration at Parkside Christian Academy.

She served as Assistant Director of Emmanuel Gospel Center from 2000-2005, and Acting Executive Director from Jan. 05 to June 05.  Her responsibilities at EGC included managing federal grants for EGC, which has received over $500,000 in federal dollars.  She has served as Chief Financial Officer, overseeing the fiscal management of the $1.3 million organization and policy development.  She is also a trained evaluator using the United Way Logic Model approach. 

She has served as Assistant Director of Admission, Director of Financial Aid and Director of Multicultural Affairs at a private boarding school, where she received commendation for "making significant contributions to the life of the school in the first few years of service." She was 1 of 15 youth workers from Boston selected to participate in the 15 month DeVos Foundation’s Urban Leadership Program in 2005.  In 2009, she was an awardee of the Women of Courage and Conviction Award from the National Council of Negro Women Greater Boston Chapter. She loves to write music and sing, and currently ministers with the Gospel ensemble, Confirmation.  She also loves to bowl, play foosball and spend time with her husband and FIVE boys, 4 of whom attend Parkside Christian Academy.
